Maggie104, Ludo GameNot five stars for this game, partially because the first time I played this version of Ludo, which was Christmas Day 2010, I found it difficult toplay without my eyeglasses. (I forgot to bring them with me when I downloaded Ludo on my girlfriend's computer.) But at least it tells you onthe top whose turn it is, and the markers, or buttons as they really look like, move around when prompted by the roll of the die. It should tellyou number of rounds played just to add some numerical statistics on it, similar to another Ludo game now appearing on my cell phone ex-cept that it will be removed from the phone in February, 2011-I am planning to change cell phone that month!

The Ludo board is divided into 4 squares. These are typically colored yellow, green, red, and blue. Each player is assigned a color and has four tokens in the same color. The board is normally square with a cross-shaped play space, with each arm of the cross having three columns of squares, usually six per column.The middle columns usually have five squares colored; these represent a player’s home column. A sixth colored square not on the home column is a player’s starting square.
At the center of the board is a large finishing square, often composed of colored triangles where the players have to collect all the 4 tokens to finally finish Ludo game.The game is started when a player rolls the number 6 on the die. If the player has no tokens yet in play and rolls other than a 6, their turn passes to the next player.

Once a player has one or more tokens in play, he selects a token and moves it forwards along the track the number of squares indicated by the die.Players must always move a token according to the die value rolled. Passes are not allowed.
If no move is possible, the turn moves to the next player. Also, if a player rolls a “6” three times in a row, they miss their next turn.
