This is a no reserve auction for a Soundcraft Spirit Folio 10/2 Mixer. The unit top is in excellent cosmetic condition. T are a few scratches on the bottom (see photos).The unit sounds great with low noise and all functions work correctly. The mixer had not been used in a few years and t was noise on the main output connectors until I worked the plugs in and out a few times. This should not be a problem. I want to be as accurate as I can with descriptions.

It includes the Users Guide and the original power supply. I only used it for sporadic personal recording and never taken it to gigs. It's sat in a closed for a number of years now. If ever a mixer deserved to be called'small but perfectly formed' It's the Spirit Notepad that earned the title. Sweepable mids on the XLRs. No individual mono inserts, but overall a great little kit to feed to the Gator. No noise, and sounds bigger.
If you're subbing the drums and not miking everything else everywhere LOL this might get your band out there in good shape. For the money you may agree the Brit front end is a good deal. I'm actually relegated to recording either at home into a USB setup or with the boyos up the road into a properly sized pool table fulla 100mm's, so here you go. One cosmetic gaffe, that power supply looks like it got dragged between a white garage and old Ford tractor but it works fine. 7 spaces tall. I got this from the original owner in Florida back in May'09 and mixed down two CD's from Sonar.

This is a great mixer if you are on budget. If you are looking into buying a new 20 channel mixer. It's $500+ for'made in China' stuff. The cheapest Soundcraft GB2 is $1200(this one was also $1200 when it was manufactured) Anyway. Great for churches, bands, production folks. In excellent physical and working condition. Comes with original power supply. This a great little mixer with a 3 band sweepable mid EQ. 60mm faders and really nice preamps for the money. Has 5532 opamps throughout and is made in the England. Here's a little Sound on Sound excerpt about the mixer: The Spirit Folio is aimed at the market for ultra-compact. High-quality mixers suitable for both sound-reinforcement and recording applications.
It offers facilities often omitted from very small desks, such as'sweep' EQ, and a full complement of faders rather than rotary level controls, whilst still maintaining a competitive price. The console is kept small by including a pair of stereo channels in each configuration. These have reduced facilities, and only operate at line level, whilst the other. Eight channels(six on the 10:2) are all full-featured, with both mic and line connections.
Globally switched 48V DC phantom powering is available for condensor mics and active DI boxes. The Folio has an equaliser/filter section of surprising sophistication for such a compact mixer. First comes a switchable 100Hz high-pass filter stage. Followed by a 3-band, sweep-mid EQ.
This offers +/15dB shelving response at 60Hz/12kHz, with the mid centre-frequency variable over a range of 250Hz to 6Hz; there's also a HPF to help deal with stage rumble and mains hum. On the stereo channels the EQ is a 2-band, fixed-frequency, shelving configuration, operating at 60Hz and 8kHz. There are two auxiliary sends per channel(but no returns- you'll have to use the channels) Configured as one fixed post-fade and one globally switchable pre/post. Channel facilities are completed by a 60mm fader, a major plus point in comparison with some of its competitors.
All channels feature a non-latching PFL switch and a surprise inclusion is a 1kHz test oscillator. Insert points are featured on the main outputs. With a few minor marks from normal use and it has a scratch on the front by the output(see last photo) but nothing at all major nothing that affects the performance. It has recently been tested and it all channels work well. It comes with the original power supply unit. Although the cable is quite short and it a standard three pin UK plug type.

In any event. This is a great little Mixer for a small combo, home production studio, for mixing Keyboards or Electronics Drum Kits. It features 4 Balanced XLR Mic Inputs in Channels 1- 4. Which also provide the option of a Line Level Input. There are 4 more Stereo Line Level Input Channels that provide'Left' Right' 1/4' Phone Jacks and these are labeled 5- 6, 7- 8, 9- 10 and 11- 12, hence the reason why Soundcraft refers to this board as a'12 Input Mixing Desk. Each Input Channel provides an Insert Jack. Gain Trim, 2-Band EQ, 2 Aux Busses, a PAN Pot, Rotary Channel Fader and a PFL Button.
The Patch Panel includes AUX 1& 2 Sends. Effects Return Left& Right, 2 Track Return Left& Right, Mix Insert Jacks Left& Right. Mix Output Left& RIght and Monitor Out Left& Right. There is also a Headphone Jack. The Master Section contains an Effects Return Level Control. A 2-Track Return Level Control with a Button that routes this signal to'Mix' 48V Phanton Power On/Off and a Button that allows you to route either the Mix or the 2-Track to the Monitors.
